Alena Kučerová: prints by one of the most important Czech artists of the second half of the 20th century
Alena Kučerová is one of the most outstanding graphic artists of the Czech art scene. Her work is about landscapes, the sea, movement in water and nature and simple scenes from everyday life. The distinctive structures of the prints, achieved through a unique technique of perforating the matrices, together with the subtlety of the motifs, make Kučerová's prints a powerful artistic experience.
Kučerová's work is gradually gaining appreciation and reputation both in this country and abroad. Kavka has been exhibiting her work regularly for several years, and now you can see a selection of it in a small exhibition that will run until 2 December.
