Thank you all for a great evening with the book Zrcadlo vnitřního života about the work of Vladimír Boudník. The book and its launch were an extraordinary success and a big thank you to the author Eva Čapková is in place, as well as to all the collaborators such as graphic designers Rostislav Vaněk and David Fajgl, and the whole publishing team.

Get to know an extraordinary genius in the pioneering work of Vladimír Boudník. The new monograph is published in the year of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the exceptional artist.
Boudník introduced his own original graphic techniques in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He called them active, symmetrical and magnetic printmaking, and influenced a whole subsequent generation of artists who in their own way built on Boudník's legacy or defined themselves in relation to it. In spite of his innovative methods, Boudník became a victim of his time, which did not understand his efforts and even ridiculed them. This is one of the reasons why various legends and erroneous assumptions have been circulating about him until now, which the forthcoming publication sets straight.
