Adolf Loos - Works in the Czech Lands

The book provides the first comprehensive presentation of Loos's activities in the Czech lands between 1900 and 1933, including the latest findings that are the result of many years of research. It presents previously unpublished archival documents, pictures of Loos' buildings and unique photographs of interiors. The authors managed to collect information on all realized and unrealized works, including designs in which Loos participated through mere consultations. The publication also includes projects that, as a result of investors' decisions, were carried out under the leadership of other builders or architects, including those for which Loos's authorship was not confirmed.

The text is printed simultaneously in Czech and English. Issued on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name in the Museum of the Capital City of Prague (October 1, 2008 - April 5, 2009).
