Ladislav Lábus is one of the best Czech architects today and his work has been gaining great respect and considerable popularity not only among the professional public for several decades. The narrative publication now brings a summary of his work to date, both award-winning new buildings, such as the newest apartment buildings in Modřany and Smíchov in Prague, a remarkable home for social services in Český Krumlov, and exceptional reconstructions: the Langhans Palace in Prague. architects, Edison transformer stations in Prague or the Prague Castle Riding Hall. The rich photographic documentation of his projects is intertwined with the texts of his collaborators and friends, who map the individual areas of Lábus's extensive work readily and with erudition, but also devote himself to his long-term pedagogical work and the transformation of the CTU Faculty of Architecture under his leadership.
