A guide to the grounds of the St. Agnes Monastery, used by the National Gallery in Prague since the 1960s, which has preserved the original layout of the double monastery of the Poor Clares and the Friars Minor to this day.

It was founded in the 1930s by the Přemyslid princess Anežka Česká, who worked here for almost half a century. The shrines of this extraordinary Gothic building hosted royal coronations and funerals, and according to legend, many miracles took place, which is clearly illustrated by a richly illustrated guide based on the opening of the renovated local gardens with the remains of the monastery the first exposition of the local lapidary. It contains chapters devoted to the personality of Agnes of Bohemia, the building history of the monastery and its modern history, the phenomenon of the monastery of the Poor Clares and the double monastery in the Middle Ages, followed by a guide to the complex and a catalog of the lapidary exhibition.
