David Cajthaml (born in 1959) studied architecture and scenography under professor Josef Svoboda at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague (VŠUP v Praze). He is a painter, graphic artist, writer and also musician. Among his most important works are original artist books Mořská dívka (The Girl from the Sea), Lesní kresby (Forest Drawings) or graphic album Lebky (Skulls).
