Flash Art #69 - Gaming
The autumn issue of Flash Art Czech & Slovak #69 approaches different ways of looking at the connection between games and art. For many, playing games is a simple entry into the world of computers, while for others it awakens a desire for experiences, creating alternative realities or telling stories. People who are born into a world contaminated by the cultural, social and political ties of computer games perceive our physical reality in close connection with the digital one. Games appear not only on the border of art, but also with diverse goals, they are a tool designed for example for military training, education, scientific research or urban planning.
