František Skála. Riding School

The exhibition of František Skála is accompanied by a catalogue that represents the artist’s works created from 2004 to the present, which are installed either in individual ‘pavilions’ of the exhibition at the Wallenstein Riding School gallery, or as free-standing monumental sculptures. The book can be perceived as a survey of various thematic displays, where one display seemingly undermines the previous one and the established perception of his oeuvre. However, the concept as a whole reveals a hidden order, a world outlook, a subject of artistic interest and investigation, that Skála wishes to articulate with the utmost precision through his work.
