Gallery H was founded in 1983 by the brothers Jiří and Zdenek Hůl in their house in Kostelec nad Černými lesy. In the years 1983–1988, it became an important place for work meetings, several hundred visual artists of all generations exhibited here. The book presents the activity and meaning of the gallery in the texts of J. Ledvina, Z. Melicharová Ryantová and Jan Wollner and provides a detailed overview of all 29 exhibitions.
