Graphic album: Kafka 100

The year 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death. We see this anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on the author's personality and his work. We therefore approached ten Czech visual artists and asked them to express their personal relationship to this exceptional writer. This is how the album KAFKA 100 was created, to which Josef Bolf, Vendula Chalánková, Stefan Milkov, Petr Nikl, Luboš Plný, František Skála, Pavel Šmíd, Jan Švankmajer, Margita Titlová-Ylovsky and Jindřich Zeithamml contributed their works.

The KAFKA 100 anniversary album was printed by the graphic workshop of Petr Korbelář. The cassette was graphically designed by Jiří Troskov and produced by Hässlers Bookbinders. Each cassette is a handmade original. 70 years old original special papers with different patterns and colours were used for production each cassete. This has created a unique whole, where each piece has its very specific visual character.
