Great Spas of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia

The spa of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia, with its richness and diversity of natural healing resources, healing methods and the very environment of the spa and its architectural design, is something unique in Europe and in the world. Their healing fame, as well as the architectural and natural beauty of the spas, have attracted rare visits from Europe and home in the past.

What most of today's spas look like is primarily the result of long-term architectural development, in which excellent Czech and foreign architects have made a significant impact.

The book, published in the Foibos Books publishing house's Famous Buildings series, introduces us to twenty-two spa towns and places on 504 pages and accompanies us through the consecrated and engaging word 181 construction and building complex of these places. Spa pavilions, colonnades, covered promenades, drinking halls, fountains, spa houses, villas, guesthouses and hotels, sacral buildings, spa theaters, parks and forest parks and everything that creates a unique atmosphere of the spa.
