The book presents the key works of fifteen protagonists of the "golden nineties" generation (K. Kintera, M. Pěchouček, V. Bromová, M. Othová, J. Černický, F. Díaz, M. Dopitová...). These are artists who exhibited at the Prague City Gallery at the very beginning of their artistic career, and it has become a sort of unwritten rule that they have achieved significant success on the domestic and foreign art scene. The Gallery's activities related to the artists of this generation in the hectic years 1994–2002 were authored and curated by a pair of young art historians Olga Malá and Karel Srp. The book includes a comprehensive pictorial section accompanied by texts by Michal Koleček, Terezia Nekvindová, Jakub Krála, Miroslav Petříček and Olga Malá. A separate final chapter is dedicated to the Archive, which deals with twenty-two individual exhibitions in chronological order and provides visuals of documentary materials such as invitations, catalogs and photographs from exhibitions and openings as well as press reactions.

The title of the exhibition Heroin Crystal was inspired by Jiří Černický's installation and photograph of the same name from 1999, which is characterized by impressive visuals with a disturbing subtext typical of the nineties in general.
