„Whilst working on the photographic series 200 m in southern Tuscany, on a short section of the beach at Principina a Mare, where I was observingthe changes of earth, water and air, I was fascinated by the dried-up whole trunks and fragments of trees cast ashore. With their gestures, they resembled living beings and their souls, or rather their mental states. It was very difficult to photograph them, so I tried to capture their essence with watercolours.“
