It is probably difficult to find a more apt description for Jana Šárová's work than fusion. It is particularly apt because it well characterizes both the inspirational and formal essence of her paintings. On the one hand, they are closely tied to her personal life, as a combined essence of what surrounds her, what she has experienced, or what she thinks and feels. On the other hand, they are a distinctive synthesis of various visual influences from which she consciously or intuitively draws, and they assert themselves in varying proportions, dynamics and interrelationships into the final pictorial formula. Moreover, both platforms overlap, as the dual content and optical aspect of her painting, and only by their fusion, i.e. a kind of fusion by fusion, does the full quality of the painting emerge.
