For the first time, the Czech reader is introduced to the work of the world-renowned Czech artist and portrait cartoonist Josef Blecha in book form. He has been drawing and cartooning for more than thirty years. A selection of his mostly recent works presents 222 famous and important world and Czech personalities, mainly from the field of literature, music, fine arts, theatre, film, architecture and politics... To some drawings the author has added notes in which he confesses his relationship to the caricatured personality; thanks to his long stay in the USA and Canada he had the opportunity to meet many of them personally.
