Kafkárna / Dům & zahrada

The publication is a collective collection and a theoretical-artistic reflection of the project of the Centre for Art and Ecology at UMPRUM. Like the project's archive, it captures the project's processuality in the years 2022-2024 and summarizes both theoretical-methodological and imaginative-visual thinking on the themes of art, ecology, inclusion, ecofeminism, non-growth and community coexistence in public space. In particular, the book draws on three international and interdisciplinary symposia held at the Kafkárna under the auspices of the Centre for Art and Ecology at UMPRUM between 2022 and 2023. It thus builds, among other things, on the contributions of invited participants. The book is a rather closed reflection or methodological guide on how to create a centre for art and ecology, an open process of exchange and interaction on the topics and phenomena under investigation.
