A retrospective exhibition called Karel Nepraš presented one of the few leading Czech artists to whom Czech museum and gallery institutions owed a representative exhibition and publication. The exhibition mapped Nepraš's sculptural and drawing work in the context of the time and provided for the first time an overall view of the work, without which we cannot imagine Czech sculpture in the second half of the 20th century. The exhibition presented the artist's masterpieces and works that are little known or completely unknown. The extensive monograph offers detailed documentation and texts by a number of authors who have dealt with the artist's work.
