Muzeum v Hradci Králové na historických fotografiích

The second edition of the publication by Jiří Zikmund and Zdena Lenderová aims to present the museum building according to the project of architect Jan Kotěra to the reader through historical photographs. Historical photography from the museum's collections is an endless source of knowledge about the life, development and urban planning of Hradec Králové, and the same is true of the documents of the construction of our only national cultural monument in the city. At the same time, the publication presents the works of important artists of the time, whom Jan Kotěra invited to collaborate on the decoration of the museum, and the circumstances under which these decorative elements were created.
