Picasso in Prague (CZ)
The prominent Czech art historian Pavel Štěpánek traces the contact of the genius Spaniard with the Czech environment from the very beginning, ie from the first meeting before the First World War, during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, in Paris, where Alfons Mucha was the first to meet him. It captures how Czech artists and critics visited Picasso and how they got to know him personally and indirectly. However, the main emphasis is placed on following critical statements and opinions on his work in the Czech environment. The book is accompanied by reproductions of Picasso's works of art.
