Plantlovers. The invisible botany of urban spaces traces five years of the Prague-based initiative Haenke against the backdrop of the houseplant phenomenon of recent years.

Placing the houseplant phenomenonit in a broader social, cultural and economic context, the book delves into the background of selected projects from public space installations to community activities. Offering a critical reflection on the sustainability of the plant trade, the book features interviews with Czech and international artists, designers, curators and gardeners such as British author Alice Vincent, design historian Penny Sparke, French curator duo studio dots or Czech fashion designer Tereza Rosalie Kladošová. It is accompanied by documentary photographs of Vojtěch Veškrna - the winner of this year's Czech Grand Design Awards - in a unique layout by graphic designer and typographer Jolana Sýkorová. Printed on FSC-certified Pergraphica paper.
