Róna - Achitectons and machines

Narrative photographic publication dedicated to sculptures by painter and sculptor Jaroslav Róna, known to the public mainly for his monumental works in public space: the monument to Franz Kafka in Prague, the equestrian statue of Jošt Lucemburský in Brno or the Mythical Ship in Bratislava. The book presents the artist's work in a specific area of ​​sculptures depicting archaic, mythological, Orwellian and futiristic architecture. Photographer Robert Portel draws the reader into the artist's magical world with attention to detail. Art theorist Ladislav Kesner places his unique work in an artistic context.
