Exceptional facsimile of one of the most famous illuminated folios of the Middle Ages: Zodiac Man from the manuscript Les Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry. This page (fol. 14v) from the workshop of the Limbourg brothers was created around 1413 in Paris and is now preserved in the Musée Condé in Chantilly.

The Zodiac Man is not only an aesthetic representation of astrology, but also a profound insight into medieval cosmology, medicine and man's relationship to the universe. In this reproduction, we encounter the figure of a man surrounded by the signs of the zodiac, depicted in conjunction with the thermal properties of the body and the four elements - fire, water, air and earth.
