The publication Art Across Generations. Collector and gallerist Karel Tutsch (1941-2008) focuses on the well-known Brno art lover and his collection of more than 1,300 works of art, which he built up over several decades. Since 1986, Karel Tutsch also ran the "Na bidýlku" gallery, which soon became an important meeting and presentation place for the Czech and Slovak unofficial art scene and in the 1990s replaced the role of the then somewhat cumbersome institutional gallery operation.
