The Building was that time one of the highest buildings in Europe equipped with a number of unique technical refinements (e.g. a system of facade cleaning from suspended platforms, a lift with the mobile office of Jan A. Baťa). For the first time in Europe "large area offices" were used. This outstanding monument of modern architecture has been restored in 2004 and is now the seat of the regional government of the Zlín Region and the Financial Council in Zlín.
