Events in KAVKA

The K-A-V-K-A bookstore is located in a beautiful space on the ground floor of a functionalist building on the corner of Krocínova and Karolíny Světlé streets in Prague 1. We organize:

• baptisms and book presentations
• autograph signings
• opening of exhibitions
• meeting with authors and artists
• author readings

Artworks
You will find a wide selection of works on paper (drawings, collages, graphics, photographs), and to a lesser extent also oil paintings and sculptures. We also regularly organize sales exhibitions of Czech fine art of the 20th century and contemporary authors. By prior arrangement, we can:

• assess and appreciate your work
• accept the work for commission sale

Publishing
As we have many years of experience in the field of book production, in addition to the book and art trade, we also engage in our own publishing activities. Our main areas of interest are author's books, art monographs and translations of world literature (especially in the field of aesthetics and oral history). If you intend to publish a book, we can arrange for you to:

• production
• editorial and proofreading work
• printing and binding
• publication under the heading of our publishing house
• book launch in our bookstore
• distribution

We have currently full qeue for publishing new titles in the coming years 2023 and 2024.
