František Štorm is an artist, graphic artist, typographer and musician. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in the studio of Jan Solper. Winner of the Revolver Revue award for 2005. He systematically deals with typographic adaptations of books - he has processed two dozen of them since the 1990s. He is the author of several dozen fonts and the theoretical publication Essays on Typography (2008). In his work, a certain degree of decadence and psychedelic expression is manifested, while he most often works with linocut. The cycle of illustrations to the collected writings of Howard Philips Lovecraft (1890-1937), which is one of the most comprehensive ever, is quite exceptional.
