As another UNESCO edition, the FOIBOS BOOKS publishing house publishes a book about the historical core of Kutná Hora with the Church of St. Barbora and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Sedlec. The book about Kutná Hora is divided into two parts. In the first part he acquaints the reader with a more than eight-year history of the locality: from the arrival and colonization of the area by the Cistercians, the period of "silver fever" and turbulent beginnings of the city, through wealth and prosperity during the reigns 16th century; despite the decline during the Thirty Years' War and the rise in the High Baroque period, drowsiness in the 19th century, new timid impulses for the 1st MS. Republic, until the rescue in the sixties and the generous restoration of the present, when in 2015 we will commemorate 20 years since the inclusion of the city as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The second part of the publication will consist of a catalog of individual buildings in the order in which the visitor to the city can view them with the publication in hand. The texts are supplemented by beautiful photographs of the current state of the historic center, and at the end there is again a map with individually marked buildings.
