The publication accompanies the exhibition of the same name, through which the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague presents the glass collection of Vojtěch Lanna (1836-1909), a construction entrepreneur, patron and co-founder of the museum. His interest in the creation of the museum stemmed from his passion for collecting and his interest in improving the cultural and economic conditions in Bohemia. The museum acquired its famous and unusually extensive collection of mainly Renaissance and Baroque glass by donation in 1906. Its significance and art historical value is illustrated by eighty selected examples, which present in image and text unique monuments of Venetian and Bohemian glass art of the 16th to 18th centuries.

The catalogue was published by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague in 2022 to accompany the exhibition of the same name held at the UPM from 15 June to 30 October 2022 on the occasion of the 26th ICOM General Conference Prague 2022.
