Eva Heyd is a professional photographer, journalist, writer and curator. Above all, however, she is an artist who works and experiments with photographic images. This book is a reminiscence of her more than forty years of work, which includes classic photographs, photomontages, collages and three-dimensional objects. The artistic activities of the author were fundamentally influenced by her emigration to the USA in the mid-eighties. While her early Czech works do not go beyond classic black-and-white photography, in New York, where she lived for twenty years, she begins to experiment with the given medium and crosses its boundaries.
