Libuše Kyndrová: Photographs
The photographs of Libuše Kyndrová bear all the best traits of women's photography. Her lyricism and tenderness are a typically feminine mode of the tender and the lyrical. And here there is one quality notable for Czech photography of recent years. The emergence of a female element in it is rising and strengthening. Alongside Fuková, Robinsonová, Hochová, Šechtlová, Michálková, we find Kyndrová providing an original expression and the content of a woman's relation to the world and the photographic medium. Her own solution for lyricism, the one least shaped so far by our masculine lyrical photography. Standing at the extreme edge of femininity. And this is all for the best.
Jaroslav Boček 1963.
