Podmínky a předpoklady

The publication is based on a dissertation that focuses on the 1960s, an important period for Czechoslovak art criticism. In the individual parts of the book, the author tries to answer the question of how to work with criticism and offers a possible definition of art criticism as a genre. He also focuses on the external conditions that critics could not influence, but they could work with them, use their possibilities and, of course, adapt to their rules. The third part of the text then focuses on the internal disciplinary assumptions that shaped the discourse and the form of individual texts.
