The painter and graphic artist Jiří Anderle (*1936) studied first at the Academy of Arts and Crafts, then at the Academy of Fine Arts. In his graphic and pictorial cycles he expresses the existential anxiety of man in the intentions of imaginative realism. In the 1960s he was part of Jiří Srnec's Black Theatre as a technician and actor. He has exhibited abroad since the 1960s and his work is represented in many collections around the world.
