David Cajthaml (born in 1959) studied architecture and scenography under professor Josef Svoboda at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague (VŠUP v Praze). He is a painter, graphic artist, writer and also musician. Among his most important works are original artist books Mořská dívka (A Mermaid), Lesní kresby (Forest Drawings) or graphic album Lebky (Skulls).
