GLASS IN BRNO AND MORAVIA CA. 1200–1550

The book, consisting of three parts, represents a completely unique work in the field of research on medieval glass in Moravia. The first volume (Assessment of Finds) is devoted to the evaluation of glass finds within individual historical periods (glass under the Přemyslids, Luxembourgs, etc.). The evaluation also includes chemical analyzes and the placement of glass and glassmaking in the historical framework.

The second part (Catalog of Glass) is a catalog of finds, which includes more than three thousand copies of glass containers. The catalog also includes an evaluation of individual glass shapes. Both parts are equipped with rich drawing and photographic documentation. Annex II. The part consists of a CD with a catalog including more than 300 objects with glass, ie the finding circumstances of individual objects.
